I’m the founder of New Brand Futures. We form small, bespoke teams of senior people to work directly with founders, CMOs and brand teams. Visit www.nbf.works to see more.
I’m also an occasional advertising and marketing commentator (FT, BBC, Sky) and a mid-life crisis ultra-runner.
I have over 25 years of advertising and marketing experience including eight years as CEO of a top ten, private equity owned communications group.
Career highlights include winning the Marketing Society Grand Prix, leading creative agency WCRS to Agency of the Year and working with and learning from some of the best in the business. Along the way, I’ve led many successful teams, which have delivered transformative results for a wide range of brands and businesses.
My approach to solving problems was founded back in my university days when I studied PPE (Philosophy, Politics & Economics) at Oxford. I learnt that however complex things may seem at the outset, they can usually be broken down, simplified and made easier to understand. This approach has served me well in the world of marketing, where many people seem determined to make things more complicated than they need to be. Marketing should be rigorous and evidence-based, but it should not be complicated or confusing. Simplicity is genius!
